What inspires me

Art inspired by emotion

I have always been in love with art, and drawing pictures of wildlife was what I, as a child, started with. The idea of creating a lasting image, of having the ability to affect someone in such a personal way has always intrigued me. To be honest, I started making pop culture art for my husband who is an avid movie lover. It's amazing to me how the remembrance of nostalgic memories can catch a person, the near forgotten emotions once again drifting to the surface. I love to see this happen, and nothing compares to the awareness that your work caused a positive response, and maybe brought a little of the "magic of youth" to everyday life.
